About The Audio

This free, downloadable recording is an audio support to be used in conjunction with 'The Delights of Learning Turkish: A self-study course book for learners of Turkish'. It contains dialogues, texts and their vocabulary as well as key grammar points from the book.

While you are reading the dialogues and texts, you will have the chance to listen at the same time and familiarize yourself with the sound of this fascinating language. You will also find the pronunciation of the vocabulary used in the dialogues and texts on this CD.

The recording starts with the pronunciation of the Turkish alphabet, Turkish words with circumflex accent, and vocabulary. It follows the unit order used in the book, which will make it easy for you to follow.

You will also listen to the challenging key grammar points of Turkish, such as 'vowel harmony', 'consonant changes', 'compound nouns', 'possessives', 'object pronouns', etc.

These audio files contain approximately 4 hours of audio in MP3 format. There are 70 MP3 files in this recording. These files are compressed as a single zip file to make it easy for you to download. After downloading this zip file, you have to unzip the file to obtain the 70 MP3 files.
